The other night I was sitting in a bar in Central Hong Kong and heard Jay-Z’s Empire State of Mind. Say what you want about the merits of the song, but it evokes a visceral patriotism in me for my city that few other things do.
In honor of that, I’ll be posting some of the very many Empire State Building photos I’ve taken for the next couple of days.
